Menard County Sunny Acres Nursing Home & Countryside Estates Advisory Board met Feb. 27.

Attendees: Advisory Board Members: Tim Hurie, John Whitehurst and Emily Schirding.
County Commissioners: Troy Cummings and Allan Anderson. Heritage Enterprises: Marge Oblinger. Administrator: Sarah Yoder
I. Approval of minutes: Motion by Tim, second by John – approved.
II. Countryside Estates: Census 20/21
Sunny Acres Nursing Home - Census Review:
III. Discussion
a) December Financials were reviewed.
b) Sarah and Marge presented a comparative analysis of revenue and expenses at Sunny Acres and other area nursing homes.
c) Point of Care – Handheld Devices – after discussion a motion was made by Emily and seconded by Tim to replace existing ASUS wall kiosks used by CNA staff to document resident ADLs with hand-held mobile devices.
d) CSE Elevator Repair – discussion was tabled until the next meeting wile waiting for another bid and getting up-to-date fees from Schindler.
e) Agency Usage – Sarah presented information showing a significant reduction in agency usage in February.
f) Sarah reported that the survey went very well.
