Report: West Lincoln-Broadwell spent $11,502 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at West Lincoln-Broadwell Elementary School District 92 is down 11 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Logan County school district spent $12,886 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,502 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 165 to 209.

West Lincoln-Broadwell's spending in 2016-17 was 11 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
