Focus on Education:
Rachel Jordan-6 th grade Reading and English teacher, K-5 music/art teacher; has taught in the district for 21 years; working on composers; doing a lot of reading and writing; just finished PARCC testing last week and the kids feel they did well with the testing
Jenn Hayes-GS lead teacher; 23 years at Hartem; math was hit hard in 4th grade this year; talked a lot about the Olympics; online Science is very exciting; Field Day at the end of May; finishing up PARCC this week; VB seasons went very well; taste test with the dairy council; Prom is this weekendSomewhere Over The Rainbow; Post Prom-Elevate Trampoline Park

a. Senior trip concluded very early this morning; Prom is this weekend; Graduation and 8th grade Promotion prep work has begun; Beta Club induction went well; musical went well-kids did a great job; Spring sports are underway; next month is packed with events/activities; Thursday is Freshmen orientation
b. Superintendent’s Report
a. School musical was awesome-Mr. Pluhm is doing an amazing job; the district office will be closed the week of July 4th; summer office hours for the district office will be Monday-Thursday 8:00am-2:00pm and Friday 8:00am-Noon; staff appreciation cook-out May 25th?; scheduling for sports for next year is ongoing
