Illinois College and Grinnell College ended their men's soccer match in a 1-1 draw on Saturday at Springer Field in Grinnell, Iowa. The result came after Illinois College scored a penalty kick with less than a minute remaining.

With this outcome, Illinois College now holds an overall record of 7-3-5 and is 2-2-3 in the Midwest Conference. Grinnell's record stands at 4-6-5 overall and 3-1-2 in conference play.

The match remained scoreless until Grinnell scored at the 77:45 mark. Illinois College tied the game when Carter Uhlmann converted a penalty kick into the upper right corner of the goal with just 35 seconds left.

Both teams recorded ten shots during the game. J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses led Illinois College with three shots, while Tyler Lunning contributed two. Goalkeeper Daniel Happach made one save for Illinois College.

Over the last three seasons, Illinois College has achieved a combined Midwest Conference record of 14 wins, four losses, and five draws.

Illinois College will play its final home match of the season against Lawrence on Saturday at England Stadium. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m., and it will also serve as Senior Day for the team.
