City of Athens issued the following announcement on June 22.
A large tree has fallen at the corner of Jackson Street and Redwood Street. Jackson Street will be closed until further notice.
Crews are on scene clearing the tree, so be very cautious and please use a different route.
We will update everyone as soon as the area is clear.
