Menard County Sunny Acres Nursing Home & Countryside Estates met April 24.

Attendees: Advisory Board Members: Jim Potts, Ron Krause, Tim Hurie, John Whitehurst and Emily Schirding. County Commissioners Allan Anderson and Troy Cummings. Heritage Enterprises: Marge Oblinger. Administrator: Sarah Yoder
I. Approval of Minutes: Motion by Ron, second by Tim - approved

II. Discussion
a) Financials were reviewed by Marge Oblinger.
b) Administrator’s Floor Repair – motion by Ron, second by John to recommend the floor be repaired/replaced, including abatement.
c) Elevator Repair Bids – after discussion it was recommended that staff see about getting an inspection before deciding on bids.
d) Water Usage – water usage over the past six months was reviewed.
e) Communications System Status – 5 bids were received. Three companies have presented demonstration of their systems, two more are scheduled for April. After discussion it was suggested that Heritage be asked for their recommendation and rationale.
f) Agency Usage – numbers for agency usage are still decreasing. There is one full-time night shift nurse position left to fill.
g) Time Capsule Closing Ceremony – all are invited to attend the time capsule closing ceremony.
Petersburg mayor will be in attendance.
