City of Athens issued the following announcement on July 11.
The City of Athens will sell at public sale the property located at 412 South Mill St, Athens IL
by taking sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. on July 27, 2018. No emailed or faxed bids will be
accepted.
The City of Athens has established a minimum sale price of $4,200. Any contract, if awarded,
will be awarded to the highest responsible and qualified bidder. The City reserves the right to
reject any and all bids tendered, to waive irregularities, or to cancel or reschedule the bid
submission date and/or bid opening.
The property will be available for inspection, upon request, prior to the bid submission deadline.
