City of Springfield issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
The following streets will be under construction beginning Monday, August 13 for asphalt paving
(patching), weather permitting.
• Groton Road
• High Pointe Drive
• Meadow Ponte Drive
• Norwalk Road (Lamont – Raleigh)
• Oxford Road (Washington – Harbauer)
• Timber Pointe Drive
• Wood Pointe Drive
• Wythe Road
The following streets will be under construction for concrete work, weather permitting. Work will include
removing and replacing portions of curb and gutter and updating accessibility ramps on sidewalks:
• 5th & Allen ramp, backfill and seeding
The following streets will be under construction for the city’s sidewalk program, weather permitting.
• College (South Grand – Lawrence)
• Cook Street (Eastdale – Livingston)
• Hazel Dell Road (West Lake Shore Drive – 1400 ft west)
• Lawrence Ave (3rd - 4th St, south side)
• Spring Street (Scarritt – South Grand)
• Williams Blvd (MacArthur – Walnut)
