City of Athens issued the following announcement on Aug. 22.
Due to a break in a main water line, some Athens Water customers will be without water until the line is repaired.
Currently, the water outage will affect all customers in Still Meadows Subdivision and those on Sunset Maple Avenue.
We will update everyone here as soon as more information becomes available and we are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
