City of Springfield issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.
Amos Avenue, between Enos Avenue and Brenda Court, is closed in both directions
beginning today, August 16. The closure is for storm sewer work and will last through August 31.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution in the area and to watch for trucks entering and
leaving the roadway
