City of Springfield issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
The next City of Springfield Public Utilities Committee meeting will be held Monday,
September 17th at 5:30 p.m. in the Springfield City Council Chambers located at Municipal Center West
at 300 S. Seventh St, 3rd floor. The meeting agenda will include an overview of public comments
received for City Water, Light and Power’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP), the utility’s quarterly financial
report, and a presentation on electric line clearance and underground rebuild work for system reliability.
The public is invited to attend and time will be permitted for public comment. The meeting will be
broadcast on Municipal Channel 18 and closed captioned. Live stream viewing of the meeting will also
be available from the City website under the “Watch Channel 18” link.
