Minutes
Chairman Waldorf made a motion to approve Public Services Committee Meeting 7/16/18 Minutes. Alderman Lukosus seconded; motion carried.

Presentation
Economic Development Director Bob Vickrey introduced Mark Judd and Cody Grandadam of Grandma Rosie’s. Mr. Judd inquired about a food trailer or proposed concession building with some public cooperation for funding or leasing at the splash pad. The Committee discussed and agreed to further investigate on legal details of that type of public/private operation.
Water & Sewer
Committee discussed and recommended bid award for the EWWTP Floodwall project to J.W. Ossola Co. in the amount of $592,658.00. Alderman Waldorf stated the bid excludes item number 10 for $112,000 for rubber wall; to be added later as a change order. Committee asked for council approval at the next regular meeting.
Alderman Waldorf made a motion to approve quote from Chamlin & Associates for 7th Street survey work (topography only) not to exceed $9,800. Alderman Sapienza seconded the motion. City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Waldorf, Lukosus, Sapienza, Ballard and Mayor Harl voting aye; motion carried
Committee discussed and recommended an Engineering Service Agreement with Chamlin & Associates for the remainder of Area 1 Sewer Separation (3 Phases). Committee asked for council approval at the next regular meeting.

Committee discussed emergency repair installation of two inserta valves pertaining to the Peoria Street water main in the amount of $18,500 and asked for council approval at the next regular meeting.
