Chatham Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Every year during Ball-Chatham School District School Safety Week, Officer Mark Commean stops by all the elementary schools and talks with the 1st and 4th graders about Stranger Danger, When to Call 911, Internet Safety, and Bullying. This week, he stopped by Chatham Elementary. At the end of each presentation, he gives a practical demonstration to the kids while using his own son as part of the demonstration. As the video will show, it's a big hit with the kids!
