Menard County approves sales tax

Menard County votes in favor of school facility sales tax on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Taxpayers in Menard County voted for a referendum calling for a school facility sales tax.

With 100% percent of the votes counted, the school sales tax referendum had 3,097 votes in favor and 2,210 against.
