Auburn Public Library District Board met November 20.

Call to order: A regular meeting of the Auburn Public Library Board of Trustees was held in Auburn, IL, 62615, on November 20, 2018. The meeting convened at 7:05 pm, President Ashley Foster presiding, and Lacy Strader, secretary.

I. Approval of minutes: A motion was made by Shirley Deheve to approve the minutes of the October 16, 2018 meeting.

Motion carried.

II. Consent Agenda

Motion: Moved by Carrie Pillischafske that the Consent Agenda be approved.

Motion carried.

Motion: Moved by Carrie Pillischafske that the Library Director will receive $100, the Librarian and Aide will receive $50, and the Custodian will receive $25. This is to be paid with a check, after taxes.

1. Personnel Policy Committee Annual Review Updated

Motion: Moved by Shirley Deheve that the updated Personnel Policy be adopted.

1. Circulation Policy Update

Motion: Moved by Lacy Strader to amend the motion adopted at the October 16, 2018 meeting to update the Circulation Policy by adding the following sentence to the end of the paragraph regarding Interlibrary Loans, “Circulation policies may be waived for an individual with the specific permission of the Library Director and designed staff.”

Motion carried.

Motion: Moved by Carrie Pillischafske that the updated Will Wietfeldt Meeting Room Use Policy be adopted

3. Inclement Weather Policy

Motion: Moved by Ashely Foster that the Inclement Weather Policy be adopted.
