Illinois State Museum issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.
On the fourth Friday of each month through May the Museum will be open late for live music, food, and fun!
The Bicentennial & Beyond exhibition is closing on February 3 and the public is invited to enjoy one last celebration of Illinois’ great history with the first event of the new Museum After Hours series. This first night will include a scavenger hunt with prizes, Illinois trivia, and more.
Jazz by Footprints with Virgil Rhodes will provide live music. Drinks will include beer from Obed and Isaac's Microbrewery, wine from Danenberger Winery and non-alcoholic beverages. Cooper Street will be providing their great food truck menu indoors.
Ages 21+, Fee: $15 non-members, $10 members. All tickets include a free beverage. Food and additional beverages will be available for purchase.
