City of Lincoln issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
The City of Lincoln, Illinois (the “City”) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified electricity consultants and/or brokers to supply electricity to all City buildings and/or facilities.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City until 5:00PM January 4, 2019 by the Office of the City Clerk. Sealed proposals will be opened and read publicly in the Mayor’s Office of City Hall at 9:00AM on January 7, 2019. Proposals will be discussed publicly at the Committee of the Whole meeting of the City Council on January 15, 2019. At that time the City Council may choose to select a proposal and place approval of the proposal on the agenda for the Regular meeting of the City Council on January 22, 2019. Should the City Council approve the proposal on January 22, 2019 they will also be asked to empower the City Clerk to negotiate the final terms of an agreement to be signed by the Mayor on or before January 25, 2019.
