Report: River Ridge spent $14,622 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at River Ridge Community Unit School District 210 is up 11.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Jo Daviess County school district spent $13,162 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,622 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 524 to 511.

River Ridge's spending in 2017-18 was 9.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
