Report: Mt Pulaski spent $11,747 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Mt Pulaski Community Unit School District 23 is up 2.2 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Logan County school district spent $11,492 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,747 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 516 to 514.

Mt Pulaski's spending in 2017-18 was 11.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
