Athens Community Unit School District 213 issued the following announcement on March 7.
The Athens High School Guidance Department will hold Freshmen Orientation for this year's 8th graders and their parents/guardians on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria. Scheduling, academic programs, driver's education, high school testing, high school expectations and clubs/activities will be covered. Groups and organizations will have informational booths set up from 6:30 to 7:00 pm.
