We the People owes $450 in fines

The campaign committee We the People owes a $150 fine imposed on Nov. 14, 2014, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $300 with John M. Karnes listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 12 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $44,250 in pending fines.
