Lincoln home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Lincoln rose by $8,250 while total sales decreased by 23.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 70 homes sold, with a median sale price of $81,000 - a 11.3% increase over the $72,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 92 homes sold in Lincoln in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2017 was $1,813.72. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,816.80. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
