Route 29/ Route 97 home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Route 29/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $250 while total sales increased by 63.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,750 - a 0.7% increase over the $35,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Route 29/ Route 97 in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Route 29/ Route 97 for 2017 was $1,112.20. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,105. This marks an increase of 0.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.1%.
