Illinois College's Collin Brunstein has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week. The announcement was made today, recognizing the senior wide receiver from Jacksonville, Illinois.
Brunstein ended his college football career with an impressive performance in Saturday's season finale. He caught 14 passes for a school-record 335 yards and scored four touchdowns. Additionally, he returned a kickoff 85 yards for another score during Illinois College's 96-14 victory over Beloit.
His four touchdown receptions increased his career total to 77, making him the NCAA's all-time leader in career touchdown receptions across all divisions. Brunstein finished his college career with 220 catches, ranking second in school history, and accumulated 5,047 yards and 77 touchdowns, both of which are records.
