16th Street/ Ash Street home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in 16th Street/ Ash Street, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $6,998 while total sales decreased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $25,000 - a 38.9% increase over the $18,002 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in 16th Street/ Ash Street in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in 16th Street/ Ash Street for 2017 was $564.90. In 2016, the median sales tax was $553.80. This marks an increase of 2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
