Lincoln home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Lincoln rose by $8,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 28 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,250 - a 11.4% increase over the $70,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Lincoln in March 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2017 was $1,814. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,817. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
