Lincoln home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Lincoln rose by $11,845 while total sales decreased by 31.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $86,850 - a 15.8% increase over the $75,005 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Lincoln in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2017 was $1,814. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,817. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
