Buffalo home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Buffalo rose by $6,000 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,750 - a 6% increase over the $100,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Buffalo in August 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Buffalo for 2017 was $1,731. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,947. This marks an decrease of 11.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.6%.
