College Street/ Ash Street home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in College Street/ Ash Street, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $37,000 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,000 - a 32.2% decrease over the $115,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in College Street/ Ash Street in January 2016.

The median sales tax in College Street/ Ash Street for 2017 was $2,064. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,017. This marks an increase of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
