Arlington Heights home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Arlington Heights, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $10,750 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $40,000 - a 36.8% increase over the $29,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Arlington Heights in January 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Arlington Heights for 2017 was $1,058. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,024. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
