Jerome home prices fall in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Jerome, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $20,900 while total sales decreased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,000 - a 23.5% decrease over the $88,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Jerome in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Jerome for 2017 was $1,622. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,578. This marks an increase of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
