Route 4/ Route 97 home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $21,800 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $99,000 - a 18% decrease over the $120,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for 2017 was $1,853. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,907. This marks an decrease of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
