Athens Community Unit School District 213 issued the following announcement on May 20.
Help us celebrate with the Class of 2019 as they graduate from Athens High School. Baccalaureate will be Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 pm at the Athens Christian Church. The service will be led by members of the senior class. Senior Academic Awards Night is Thursday, May 23 at 7:00 pm in the AHS Gym. Commencement is Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 am in the AHS Gym. Doors open to the public at 9:00 am; seating is first come, first serve. There will be both chair and bleacher seating available along with several wheelchair spots.
