2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Dupage County?

There were 289 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Dupage County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Sangamon Sun.

The data shows that 254 men and 35 women were released in Dupage County. Of the parolees, four were veterans, and the median age was 35. The youngest parolee was a 19-year-old man convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018, and the oldest was a 71-year-old woman convicted of a property crime in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Frederico Conde. He was convicted of homicide in 1993 when he was 22 years old. He is now 48.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Dupage County municipality.
