The youngest parolee is a 21-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving one or more weapons in 2017, and the oldest is a 60-year-old man sentenced for sex crimes in 2010.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Eric S. Bailey. He was convicted of property crimes in 2002 when he was 25 years old. He is now 42.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
