Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Dekalb County?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Dekalb County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Sangamon Sun.

The data shows that 11 men and three women were released in Dekalb County. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 55-year-old woman sentenced for a crime against one or more children in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Rodrigo Enriquez. He was convicted of homicide in 2003 when he was 31 years old. He is now 47.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Dekalb County municipality.
