Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Fulton County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Fulton County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Sangamon Sun.

The data shows that two men and one woman were released in Fulton County. The median age of the parolees was 26. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 32-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joshua D. Place. He was convicted of a property crime in 2017 when he was 30 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Fulton County municipality.
