Illinois State House District 99 issued the following announcement on July 16
Enjoyed helping cook tonight for the Commander’s Cookout at VFW Post 4763 in Chatham. Mayor Dave Kimsey and Village Trustee Dewey Detmers were the grill masters and I was the food runner. During the meeting Quilts of Valor made a quilt presentation to one of our members. Quilts of Valor does a great service for veterans. The quilt presented tonight was amazing.
