City of Lincoln issued the following announcement on July 25.
Interested in an exciting and noble career as a Police Officer? The Lincoln Fire and Police Commission is currently testing for entry level and lateral officers for the department. A mandatory orientation will be held on August 3, 2019, at 1:00 PM, at the Lincoln Police Station, 710 5th St, Lincoln, IL, 62656. If you are unable to make the orientation, please contact the Police Chief.
Testing requirements and procedures are listed on the Recruiting page and written testing is now open and must be completed by September 1, 2019. Lateral and Entry level officers must complete the written testing.
