Athens Community Unit School District 213 issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
Meet Your Teachers for Athens High School will be Wednesday, September 4th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Students may come early on Tuesday, September 3rd to set up their lockers before classes. We will allow extra time for them to do that. Please do not come before Tuesday to set up your locker. Freshmen and Sophomores will not need locker shelves as the new lockers have a built-in shelf.
