Southern View home prices rise in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Southern View, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $24,250 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $56,250 - a 75.8% increase over the $32,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Southern View in December 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Southern View for 2017 was $1,174. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,156. This marks an increase of 1.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
