Illinois State Museum issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
Winter is coming! Are you ready for snowmen, warm scarves and mittens, and hot chocolate?Join us as we explore this magical time of year. Discover how animals adapt to the change in the seasons through a museum search, build your own snowman, get creative with water color snowflake cards, design your own winter travel mug, and more.
Super Saturdays offer thematic activities recommended for children ages 5 and up each month. Activities take 30-40 minutes to complete and are included with Museum admission.
