City of Lincoln issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Beginning Saturday December 21, 2019 4th Street between S. Maple Street and Union Street will be closed. Decatur Street starting at Union Street and going to the alley behind Holy Family Catholic Church will also be closed. The Decatur Street road closure will expand from the alley behind Holy Family Catholic Church past the 3rd Street intersection as the project is completed on 4th Street. The parking lot directly North of Carroll Catholic School will still be accessible and signage will be posted at its alley entrances. The 4th Street portion of the project is expected to end prior to Carroll Catholic School’s return to classes. The roads will be fully opened and available for public use at the completion of the project.
