St. John's Hospital Springfield Illinois issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Over the weekend we partnered with Slumberland Furniture to give away 31 twin bed mattresses, box springs and bed frames to children ages 2-16 in need. The Parent Help Line also donated a new set of sheets for each bed, a $25 Visa gift card and coordinated the selection of families. Chick-Fil-A donated chicken and biscuit sandwiches and coffee for the event. Santa was also there to greet the families.
