Illinois State Museum issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
Edwards Place is privileged to offer a workshop presented by two nationally known reenactors and costumers, Kay Gnagey and Karen Duffy, on March 21-22, 2020. This is a 1 ½ day workshop on Civil War era women’s fashion and comportment. The attendees will receive free entry to a public talk on March 20, free entry to Edwards Place, free entry to the Illinois State Museum, lunch on Saturday, as well as other items. The workshop costs $90 per attendee and will be open to 60 people.
