Coroner, Jim Allmon

· Approve to hire a replacement Death Investigator at an annual salary of $54,275 effective March 20, 2020; the previous employee earned $66,035.58 and was promoted within the department effective February 11, 2020

Sheriff, Jack Campbell

• Approve the application and acceptant of the State and Community Highway Safety National Priority Safety Program with anticipated grant revenue of $22,501.47; matching funds not required

State’s Attorney, Dan Wright

• Approve to hire a replacement Assistant State’s Attorney Level 3 at an annual salary of up to $65,000 effective on or after March 11, 2020; the previous left the payroll system at an annual salary of $60,000 on January 7, 2020

• Approve to hire a replacement Assistant State’s Attorney Level 2 at an annual salary of up to $53,000 effective on or after April 6, 2020; the previous employee left the payroll system at an annual salary of $52,000 on March 6, 2020

· Approve to hire Morgan Lacefield as a Supreme Court 711 Intern at a rate of $10 an hour (temp) effective on or after February 18, 2020

· Approve to hire a replacement Supreme Court 711 Intern at an annual salary of $3,000 (seasonal) effective on or after March 11, 2020; the previous employee left the payroll system in August, 2019

· Approve to hire a replacement Supreme Court 711 Intern at an annual salary of $3,000 or to hire two replacement Supreme Court 711 Interns at an annual salary of $1,500 each effective on or after March 30, 2020; the previous employees left the payroll system in August, 2018

Auditor, Andy Goleman

· Approve to hire Brad Hammond, Part-Time Auditor, at a rate of $30 an hour for 400 hours effective March 1, 2020

Community Resources, David Petrilli

· Approve the grant application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the Weatherization HHS 20-221038 Grant with anticipated grant revenue of $358,628; matching funds not required

· Approve the grant application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the Weatherization DOE 17-404038 Grant with anticipated grant revenue $208,312; matching funds not required

· Approve the grant application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the Weatherization State 21-251038 Grant with anticipated grant revenue of $154,133; matching funds not required

Veterans, Dane Shaffer

• Approve to hire Dane Shaffer as replacement Superintendent at an annual salary of $54,275 effective March 23, 2020; the previous employee will leave the payroll system at an annual salary of $63,433 on February 21, 2020

· Approve promotion/salary adjustment for Jeff VanZuiden from Clerk to Administrative Assistant with an increase in annual salary from $29,843.52 to $33,594 effective March 23, 2020; the previous employee earned an annual salary of $34,957 and will be promoted within the department effective March 23, 2020

· Approve to hire a replacement Clerk at an annual salary of $29,250 effective April 1, 2020; the previous employee earned an annual salary of $29,843.52 and will be promoted within the department effective April 1, 2020

Court Services, Mike Torchia

· Approve to hire a replacement Detention Officer at an annual salary of $42,689 effective March

9, 2020; the previous employee will leave the payroll system at an annual salary of $42,689 on March 20, 2020

OEM and ETSD, Chris Mueller

• Approve Promotion/Salary Adjustment for Amanda Brewer, Office Manager to Fiscal Officer with an increase in annual salary from $49,956 to $54,952 effective March 11, 2020

• Approve to hire a replacement Mapping Software Technician at an annual salary of $60,182 - $72,217 effective on or after March 21, 2020; the previous employee left the payroll system on February 21, 2020 Regional Planning, Molly Berns

• Approve the application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the Route 66 Corridor Planning Grant with anticipated grant revenue of $200,000; matching funds required

• Approve the application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the Redevelopment Planning Grant for the 9th Street/Peoria Road Corridor with anticipated grant revenue of $250,000; matching funds required

· Approve to hire a Senior Planner – Policy Analysis at an annual salary of $49,583 - $60,000 effective May 1, 2020

• Approve to hire a replacement Associate Planner – Community Planning, Research & Technology at an annual salary of $32,191 - $49,583 effective April 20, 2020; the current employee will leave the payroll system at an annual salary of $36,900 on March 20, 2020 Highways, Brian Davis

• Approve internal Promotion/Salary Adjustment for a replacement Highway Maintenance Supervisor-Pavement with an annual salary of up to $54,495

• Approve internal Promotion/Salary Adjustment for two replacement Highway Equipment Operator II

• Approve internal Promotion/Salary Adjustment for two replacement Highway Equipment Operator
