Athens Community Unit School District 213 issued the following announcement on May 21.
During the “shelter-in-place” order, lunch will continue to be provided for all children age 18 or younger. However, we do have a change in procedure. Pick up location will only be at the Athens High School parking lot. In addition, lunches will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Monday, each child will receive two lunches, on Wednesday each child will receive two lunches and on Friday each child will receive one lunch. This should help reduce exposure for everyone. Lunch pick up time will remain from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you have any questions, please email Lisa Long at llong@athens-213.org.
