The tentative budget for SY2020-2021 will be brought for approval during the Monday, July 27, 2020 BoardMeeting. According to the Illinois School Code, the budget will need to be on display in our office for thirty (30) days prior to the board adopting the final budget. All public school budgets must be approved by September 30th of each year. The budget will be on display at the Unit Office by August 12, 2020.
Recommend the School Board adopt the budget calendar outlined below:
Wednesday, August 12, 2020 - Local public notice appears in the El Paso Journal and the Gridley Village Times regarding thirty days’ notice of budget on display.
Monday, July 27, 2020 - School Board approves Tentative Budget for SY2020-2021.
Wednesday, August 12, 2020 through Wednesday, September 16, 2020 - Budget will be on public display at the Unit Office.
Monday, September 28, 2020 - School Board adopts budget for 2020-2021 school year.
