American Chamber of Commerce In Poland issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
The global #COVID19 pandemic has created an unprecedented situation, endangering the health and lives of Poles unusually. With full support and understanding, AmCham keeps an eye on the Ministerstwo Zdrowia activities in the fight against the pandemic. However, we also recognize other important areas for patients within the healthcare system that should be provided even with the current situation, such as the maintenance of diagnostics and treatment of other diseases other than the coronavirus, as well as the need for stable financing of the healthcare system in Poland, also by increasing the total budget for drug reimbursement to provide effective, innovative and state-of-the-art therapies to Polish patients.
As a result, AmCham has prepared recommendations and postulates for the Minister of Health regarding healthcare in Poland, which may post-pandemic lead to further development of health protection and the improvement of treatments for the well-being of Polish patients.
