Illinois State Museum issued the following announcement on Apr. 29.
Join us for a virtual night out just for teens exploring the moon and night sky with Dr. John Martin of the University of Illinois, Springfield.
Dr. Martin will introduce us to the night sky, view the moon up close, answer questions about stargazing, and (weather permitting) show us what he can see with his telescope.
This virtual program is for students entering grades 7-12 in the fall. Register for this free event by June 16 at bit.ly/StellarNightOut2021.
